A plein air piece I painted in that incredible city with those uniquely steep streets, familiar from the many movies. It's an incredibly challenging perspective, and a nightmare to master I can tell you. I kept this one for myself as it worked out just so well, I like it a lot. Plein air painting has become my favourite way to work. There's always an elusive energy in that work, difficult to achieve in studio.
