This is the Old Pottery in a historic town called “Hill End” in New South Wales. 

Absolutely nothing is plumb or level but it is still functioning as a pottery. In actual fact, probably nothing in Hill End is plumb or level!

The repeating and overlapping forms of the brick chimneys - juxtaposed above the collapsing picket fence prompted this painting.

This artwork is currently being held on exhibition in the Gallery and is able to be collected at the completion of the exhibition.
