This is the Old Pottery in a historic town called “Hill End” in New South Wales.Â
Absolutely nothing is plumb or level but it is still functioning as a pottery. In actual fact, probably nothing in Hill End is plumb or level!
The repeating and overlapping forms of the brick chimneys - juxtaposed above the collapsing picket fence prompted this painting.
