Regina Noakes paints women, children and still life, often with fairly ordinary domestic things such as baskets and pots and pans. She frequently paints the two in combination, playing the inanimate off against the animate. Regina is a significant Australian artist who has won many art awards including the Lorenzo Medici Gold Medal, 4th Prize from the Florence Biennale.
