Residing in picturesque South East Queensland, Michael draws his inspiration from everyday life. Painting the very charming “Queenslander” homes to street scenes focusing on the beautiful facades of our most treasured buildings in Brisbane. With his medium consisting of pen and wash, Michael chooses a colour palette of neutrals for the background which provides a quiet backdrop. Nostalgia and grace are appropriately captured in Michael’s paintings which are loosely compiled with lost and found edges.
