Red Hill Gallery, one of Brisbane’s leading independent fine art galleries, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Casual Sales Consultant to join our team for a minimum of 4 days per week.
What We’re Looking For:
- Team Player & Reliable: As a small, close-knit team, every member plays a crucial role in the gallery’s daily operations. You’ll contribute to sales, client interactions, administration, and physical tasks such as lifting and moving artworks.
- Digital Literacy: Proficiency in tools like Canva, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Vision 6, and our sales system is important. A willingness to learn new software is essential.
- Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, particularly in the luxury market, is required. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable building strong rapport with our clients. Regular client interaction via phone and email will be part of your role.
- Flexibility: Availability for weekend and evening work is required for exhibition openings (monthly).
- Physical Capability: The role involves regular physical tasks like moving artworks, furniture, and helping with installations.
- Art Knowledge (preferred but not essential): While a background in art is not required, an interest or knowledge in the field will be advantageous.
