When I painted The Girl with the Balloons, I wanted to explore the beauty of simplicity through composition, colour, and the quiet solitude of a single figure. The ocean setting provides a sense of calm, while the colourful balloons introduce a playful contrast. 

This artwork is currently being held on exhibition in the Gallery and is able to be collected at the completion of the exhibition.
