Madeleine was originally involved in the commercial art world before taking up painting full time in 1996. She has been an International exhibiting artist since 2013 attending art fairs all over Asia. Worldwide Collectors of her art include Diplomats in Penang and Beijing. She is currently living in Siem Reap Cambodia.

She studied the fine arts including metal sculpture at Brisbane Institute of Art as well as being on the Management Committee for 5 years. She received a Distinction Diploma in the History of Art with the London Art College distance education.

The emphasis is on Music and this artist’s paintings sing to the audience with lyrical strokes of flowing paint eloquently reflecting the nature of the artist herself who lives the dynamic and exuberant philosophy she has for her own art and the role that art plays in today’s society.

‘When I paint it’s all about music and movement and when I assess a finished piece the first thing is to follow the lines and see if there is movement like a breath of wind or a heartbeat’.

The Film, ‘The Dying Piano’ will be released in 2027 along with her latest book which will also be published in Mandarin.
