There are some artists whose work never asks for attention, yet it always earns it. Ken Strong is one of those artists.
Over the many years I've had the pleasure of representing Ken, I've admired not only his remarkable paintings but also the quiet dedication that lies behind them. His landscapes are never simply about a place. They reflect years of travelling, observing and developing a deep understanding of the Australian landscape and its ever-changing light.
Collectors often tell me there is a sense of calm in Ken's work, and I couldn't agree more. His paintings have a timeless quality that continues to resonate, year after year.
I'm especially delighted that, to celebrate Red Hill Gallery's 40th Anniversary, Ken has created three new paintings exclusively for this milestone. Displayed together in our front window, they celebrate both his enduring relationship with the Gallery and four decades of supporting Australian artists.
