Rose’s love of art began with ceramics. She has won numerous prizes over the years, including prizes in the Ceramics Professionals/Teachers Category at the Brisbane Ekka. Rose has also completed several private commissions, mainly in an Egyptian theme.

Professional tuition then led Rose from decorative painting and realism on to impressionism and then abstraction. Rose has found the form, colour, line and feeling of spontaneity in abstraction enormously satisfying. She also enjoys recycling objects by adding their various textures to her art work to bring about a new dimension.

In the last year Rose has attended workshops in abstract, ceramics, and embellishment to broaden her knowledge. In 2017 Rose completed her Bachelor of Arts (Fine Art) and (Visual Culture) through Curtin University. She works under the name Abbie Rose Collections.

Over recent years, Rose has been concentrating on her love of ceramics.
