The Gallery

Red Hill Gallery features a comprehensive selection of fine artworks from mid and senior career artists and exciting new emerging artists. Featuring monthly exhibitions of realist, impressionist and contemporary paintings, works on paper, bronze sculptures, glass, ceramics and many hidden treasures for your enjoyment and acquisition.

Since first opening its doors in 1986 the Gallery has remained at the same premises, in a quaint little ‘red’ building with a green awning, at 61 Musgrave Road,  in a property over a century old that has become a part of Brisbane’s historical fabric.

The structure was built in the early 1900s by the Whitehouse family to house their famous organ business, supplying organs to most city halls, civic buildings, churches and cathedrals throughout Australia and New Zealand. It subsequently became the home of many other businesses including a confectionary manufacturer, a sound studio and a printing press.
