Margo completed her Master of Arts in Visual Art at the Queensland College of Art, Griffith University, South Brisbane and continues to work and exhibit widely.
During the early 1980's Margo studied painting and drawing at The Julian Ashton Art School, Sydney and completed a Diploma of Painting. She has since exhibited widely and her works are held in collections both in Australia and overseas.
The period 1998-2000 was dedicated to completing her Bachelor of Fine Art at QCA, Griffith University majoring in printmaking. During this period she was awarded an overseas study scholarship to the Alberta College of Art and Design, Canada.
Upon her return to Australia and completion of her degree, Margo was appointed curator of the Star Gallery in Brisbane's South Bank. She established and managed a new gallery exhibiting and promoting the work of Brisbane's emerging printmakers and artists.
Between 2000 and 2003 Margo worked at the Queensland Art Gallery as a part time curatorial research assistant. In 2007 Margo completed her Master of Art in Visual Arts majoring in painting.

Donoghue-Klewin’s work is part of public and private collections in Australia, China, Europe, Japan and United States. She has also exhibited in shows across Australia and been a finalist in various Art Prizes including The Churchie Emerging Art Prize.
