There are 41 Lifeguard Towers on the Gold Coast, the numbers getting higher as you head north. This work is based on Tower 28 at Kurrawa, Broadbeach. It was our favourite family holiday spot where we rode the waves on our surf mats and spent long sunny days swimming.
