This painting was inspired by a black and white photo of the Olympian, Kieran Perkins. Taken by David Hinchliffe, it was part of his iconic book, “Two to the Valley,” documenting Valley life in the 1980’s. The photo captures the strength and beauty of one of Brisbane’s most famous swimmers.
