The Point Lookout Surf Life Saving Club (PLSLC) on North Stradbroke Island/ Minjerribah began with ten members in 1947. It sits on the hill overlooking the South Gorge and Main Beach. I took a photo late on a summer afternoon when one of the lifesavers was having a joke with a couple of swimmers. It inspired me to capture the vivid colours of the flags against the purple-blue of a late afternoon sky.
